This Year, Cater the Passover Seder!

Passover is probably my favorite Jewish holiday. It has everything I love: guests who I want in my home (!), great food, and of course good wine. But even I have to admit it can be stressful to put together a Passover seder.
I’ve witnessed the following:
- Last-minute problems finding a lamb shank
- Not enough eggs for all the guests
- Someone forgot the horseradish
- Cold soup because we ran out of burners to simmer
It doesn’t have to be this way, at least not in the Toronto area, where Mitzuyan Kosher Catering can take care of some or all of the Seder details for you. We offer a truly unique Passover catering menu that features traditional foods and fusion cuisine, all kosher and chametz-free for the Passover seder.
This year, why not focus on what you like and do best for the seder? It could be selecting some really good kosher wines, buying flowers for your table, making your own desserts, or showing off your best china and tableware. Passover doesn’t have to be a stressful, rushed time in the kitchen every year.
Low-Stress, Catered Seders are Here in Toronto!
If you’ve volunteered (or been volunteered) to host a Seder, consider getting some help with it. Mitzuyan Kosher Catering has a full Passover menu that will take care of the food, sides, and even prepare a seder plate!
Of course, you don’t have to get the full Passover shebang. You can still do your own plate, for example, or let us handle the main course or the side dishes. That’s the beauty of a menu!
How good are we? We named a top kosher caterer in Toronto by blogTO in January.
Our kosher menu includes these traditional favorites:
- Bubbe’s traditional chicken soup (mine, not yours)
- Sweet or savory gefilte fish
- Matzo balls
- Homemade egg noodles
- Potato kugel
- Oven roasted chicken (we have different sizes to fit your table size)
- Brisket
In keeping with our pledge to offer a variety of kosher cuisine, you can go nontraditional as well. Here is a sample of our world kosher meals:
- Mushroom crepes
- Butternut squash soup
- Carrot tzimmes
- Miso glazed salmon
- Moroccan-style tilapia
- Grilled salmon in mango salsa
- Beef kebab
- Sweet & sour meat balls
And where else can you order a side of extra charoset? Avoid the tussles over who gets the last spoonful!
All our dishes are prepared in our glatt kosher mobile kitchen, supervised under the watch of COR, the Kashruth Council of Canada, and our own Executive Chef. This way, the food is at its absolute freshest for you.
Make the Seder Truly Different This Year!
We serve the Toronto area, including Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Mississauga, and other cities and towns. Contact Mitzuyan Kosher Catering to find out if you’re in our service area and learn more about our extensive Passover menu. What do you have to lose, other than an opportunity to make this year’s Seder really different for the year-round, hard-working cook?
Wouldn’t it be nice not to be exhausted by the time the Seder begins? If you’re the usual house chef, give yourself a break. Lean back on those pillows like everyone else and listen to the Haggadah readings. Let Mitzuyan Kosher Catering take care of at least one Seder for you this year.
Go ahead–make this year a truly different one from past years!
